In an email to Mike Tomas, Club Fitter, Club member Gene Bockrath writes,
"I am returning to Colorado for the summer and I would like to thank you again on the excellent job you did on fitting my old clubs to my style of golf. I have always enjoyed playing golf and now I really enjoy it. Most golfers will spend at least $300 a year on a new driver and it does nothing to improve their score. I spent less than that on your fitting and it really improved my game and score. I have played twice in the Men's Saturday group since my fitting and I have averaged 10 strokes better than my handicap. I know most golfers will not improve this much but they will improve. I have always read that if you had to choose between a lesson and a fitting, go with the fitting and I highly agree with it.
Also, I liked the idea that you did not want to sell me new clubs at first but just adjust my clubs and see how they worked out, then after playing with them for several months you would help me upgrade to new clubs if I so desired. I know most fitters just want to fit and sell you new clubs but that was not your style. Thanks.

On April 23, 2013, The Club invited a group of twenty members to enjoy Bon Jovi's concert from a private suite at the Jobbing.com Arena.

In a letter to one of our members after April's inaugural Men's Member-Guest Golf Tournament, Brian wrote,
"I just want to thank you again for a great weekend of golf and friendship. For the first annual Member-Guest the Marriott "did it up" right. I enjoyed meeting the members too...a great group of guys you play with. You have the best of both worlds, good golf with a fabulous facility. No CC can compare in quality of amenities or food."

"Little did we know what enjoyment The Club would bring us! We golfed at Wildfire at the J.W. Marriott for 6 years before The Club evolved. We always enjoyed the Palmer & Faldo courses and the great service from the clubhouse staff and Meritage Steak House staff. Then came the Club…what a spectacular opportunity for us to not only enjoy the superb golf amenities, but the entire J.W. Marriott amenities. The spectacular events that are held for club members at the J. W. Marriott resort are first class and far exceed events at other private golf clubs.
